It is a guide for Autodesk Revit Architecture certifications exam. The book is all color print. It is heavier than other black and white thick guide book of the same size. The information are useful for understand the basic concept behind the software and each function. It let you know the proper way and area to use different function. It is a good book for beginner who want to learn the software correctly. People who have experience of Revit Architecture on professional projects for a few years may think the book is a little simple. I think the all color print makes it a good value book to buy. If you are consider to take Autodesk’s certified exams, this is an helpful resource than others on market.

This book is a pretty book, with very little value above the value you could get for free, if you invested the time in the tutorials that come with the software. It was ghost written by Jim Balding whose own book, Introducing and Implementing Autodesk Revit was full of errors and typos and carried those same errors through several revised editions. It has no advanced imformation and is targeted at the most basic skills. Skip it.
